Awhat it is
A digital employee is an AI system with a defined role: it works inside the tools you already use, executes a specific workflow from start to finish, and hands anything critical to a human for approval, until you decide it has earned more room.
Your inbox, CRM, spreadsheets, e-commerce platform or ERP. Your team keeps working where it already works. You get one screen on top: what they did, and what is waiting on you.
Each employee runs one clearly scoped process, triaging tickets, updating stock signals, building reports, with explicit boundaries on what it may and may not do.
Tell it once that a lead time is seven weeks and it holds. The rules it works by are yours, visible, dated, and changeable at any moment.
It prepares the work and puts every decision to you. Nothing leaves the building without your yes.
The routine it handles itself. Where you drew a line, an amount, a customer, a promise, it stops and asks.
Within the rules you set. You see every action in the log afterwards, and you can reverse it.
At every level: role-based access to only the systems that workflow needs, every action and decision logged and reviewable, and monitoring that stops the employee rather than letting it improvise. GDPR-conscious by design.

This is what looking over its shoulder actually looks like. What it handled, what it left for you, the rules it works inside, and the place where you tell it why you disagree.

Drafts waiting for your approval
They're asking about the lead time on a custom cabinet. I have the draft ready, but I don't want to promise a date we can't hold.
My advice: you check the date, then I'll send it.
Why not just send the Van Dijk draft?
They're asking about a lead time on a custom cabinet. Your rule says: unsure about a lead time, ask first. I don't know the date.
Fair. It's 7 weeks, you can promise that.
Noted. Sending it now, and from here on I'll know it's 7 weeks for custom cabinets.
Good.

Ethe process
We don't hand you a strategy deck. We map, build, integrate and keep your digital employee running.
We identify the workflow with the highest return and map how it really runs today, including the exceptions.
Role, boundaries, tools, optional approval points and success metrics, agreed before anything is built.
We build the employee inside your existing tools and test it against real historical cases.
Live with as much or as little human approval as you want. Autonomy expands only where you decide it should.
Performance is tracked, edge cases are handled, and the workflow keeps improving month over month.
Two to four weeks in most cases, six at the outside. A mailbox is a different story from an ERP with four sign-offs, and some connections need permission from the platform itself. If yours is going to run longer, you hear it from us as soon as we know, not at the deadline.

Pilot, first yearCheck these against your own payroll. The left column uses Dutch employer contributions and public averages for recruitment and onboarding, your numbers will differ, and the comparison is worth redoing with them. Core, for a larger operation, comes to €25,500 in year one.
We are not claiming one replaces the other. A digital employee does not answer the phone, walk the floor or think of something nobody asked for. What it does do is run one workflow every working day, and this is what that costs. It is not built to replace the people you have, but to take the repeatable work off their desks, so the team you already have can spend its hours on the work that grows the company. The middle column prices the hours, not the licences: three hours a week at €75 is €11,700 a year. Loose tools are cheap to buy and expensive to run, because you stay the operator.
Icommon questions
An AI system with a defined operational role: it executes one scoped workflow inside your existing tools, with full logging, monitored performance and optional human approval on critical actions.
Two to four weeks in most cases, and six at the outside. The sequence is always the same, scan and mapping, design, build and test against your real historical cases, supervised go-live. What can stretch it is permission from a platform itself: some connections have to be reviewed by the vendor before we may use them, and that clock is not ours. If your implementation is heading past four weeks, you hear it from us as soon as we know.
